We are based in Taitung, Taiwan — a land embraced by mountains and sea, blessed with a gentle climate. At Luv Seed, we focus on breeding and cultivating hibiscus and hippeastrum. With patience and care, we hope to grow plants that bring beauty and joy into daily life.
樂芙種苗｜與自然共生的花卉培育者
我們來自台灣台東，一片山海環繞、氣候宜人的土地。樂芙專注於扶桑與孤挺花的育種與栽培，透過時間與細心，培育出能為生活帶來美好感受的植栽。
2016 — Established in Taitung City, Taitung County, Taiwan
2016年：於台東縣台東市設立。
2018 — Officially founded Luv Seed; obtained Seed Enterprise Registration Certificate
Recognized as one of Taiwan’s leading hibiscus breeders, Luv Seed holds one of the largest collections of varieties in the country.
Our offerings include native and collector cultivars, hybrid seeds, cutting materials, and seed-grown hybrids.
2018年：正式成立樂芙種苗，取得種苗業登記證
樂芙種苗為台灣自育朱槿品種最多、品種收集最廣的公司之一，產品涵蓋原生種與收藏級品系，提供配種種子、枝條、與配種實生苗等。
2019 — Improved hibiscus seed quality; became Taiwan’s top producer of hibiscus seeds
Expanded product line to include Hippeastrum varieties.
Offerings now include native and collector hibiscus varieties, hybrid seeds and seedlings; as well as Hippeastrum hybrid seeds, seedlings, blooming-confirmed offsets, and rare wild species.
2019年：持續提升朱槿種子品質，為台灣朱槿種子最高產量之公司
同年擴增產品線至孤挺花領域。
孤挺產品涵蓋原生種與玩家品系，提供配種種子、配種實生苗、已確認開花品系之側球，以及稀有原生品種等多元選項。
2020 — Established a plant tissue culture laboratory to enhance in-house research and innovation capacity
This facility marked a key step in strengthening our breeding and propagation capabilities.
2020年：增設植物組織培養研究室，強化自有研發創新量能
此舉為公司在品種育成與繁殖技術上奠定更穩固的基礎。
2021 — Executed Taitung County SBIR Project: Reducing Time to Market for New Hippeastrum Varieties via Tissue Culture
The project focused on accelerating the commercialization of new Hippeastrum cultivars using plant tissue culture techniques, with support from the Taitung County Government’s SBIR program.
2021年：執行台東縣政府SBIR計畫——利用植物組織培養技術縮減新品種孤挺花上市週期
本計畫著重於運用組織培養技術，加速孤挺花新品種之商業化進程，並獲得台東縣政府SBIR計畫支持。
2023 — Completion of new tissue culture facility
The new laboratory is dedicated to the asexual propagation and healthy cultivation of plants such as hibiscus and hippeastrum.
Plant tissue culture is a technique that uses parts of a plant (such as shoot tips, leaves, or roots) to grow new plants in a sterile environment. These tissues are cultured on a nutrient medium, allowing them to divide rapidly and develop into whole, healthy plants.
2023年：植物組織培養新場落成
新設施專門從事朱槿與孤挺花等植物的無性繁殖與健康培育。
組織培養是一種利用植物的部分組織（如莖尖、葉片或根部）在無菌環境中進行培養，使其在特定的培養基中快速分裂、生長為完整植物的技術。
2025 — Participated in the “Taiwan Hippeastrum New Varieties and Commercial Cultivation Evaluation Showcase” organized by the Agricultural Research and Extension Station
Luv Seed was honored to receive First Place and the Overall Grand Champion Award, a recognition that encourages us to continue refining our breeding work with humility and dedication.
2025年：參與由農業改良場所舉辦的「台灣孤挺花新品系及商業栽培評比觀摩會」
樂芙種苗榮獲第一名及全場總冠軍的殊榮，這份肯定是對我們持續育種努力的鼓勵，也提醒我們謙卑前行、精益求精。
